Welcome to the Southeast Region KASP page!

Susan is a nationally certified school psychologist with 16 years of experience in public schools, spanning from pre-K through 12th grade. She was honored with the School Psychologist of the Year award in Kansas in 2022.

Susan has served as a Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) district trainer, has been a member of the district Leadership Team, the district Safety/Crisis Teams, the Affective Service teams and is a member of the Kansas Fetal Alcohol Syndrome (FAS) clinic.  She is also a trainer for PREPaRE Workshop 1& Workshop 2.

Currently, Susan is in her second year with the Specialized Learning Services (SLS) team at Greenbush: Education Service Center. In this capacity, she actively collaborates with teams to develop and implement comprehensive systems of support for crisis prevention and intervention, positively impacting the lives of children and schools. Furthermore, Susan serves as the school psychology internship supervisor/instructor for Emporia State University in Kansas.
