Welcome to the Southeast Region KASP page!

I am currently associate professor and director of the school psychology program at Emporia State University.  I graduated from ESU many years ago as an undergraduate and then later as a graduate student and was thrilled to have the opportunity to come back! I love training students entering the profession. 

Before becoming a school psychologist, I earned a PhD in Clinical Psychology from Drexel University.  My degree and clinical training were focused heavily in clinical neuropsychology.  After leaving Drexel, I worked in a variety of settings, including hospitals, outpatient mental health, and private practice.  My passion for public education and it's importance to ALL is what really lead me to the field of school psychology and it has absolutely been the right choice for me.  It also blends perfectly with my interest in how our brains learn!
